Fastcodesign say that the dutch concept device Ref “gets the award for the weirded UI we’ve ever seen”. It’s the shape, the materials. I’m not sure whether it’s more Cambrook style or uncanny valley, but full props to the designer for avoiding a more typical style aesthetic.
